Hello,

I'd like to tweak a parameter in a wgf file (to enable waterways). I can unzip the content of the .wgf file, and edit the text file with the right parameters. However, I'm unable to create the archive again, because it seems it needs absolute path, and I can't find a tool able to create a zip archive with absolute path. Any hints? I'm using Linux/Ubuntu.

Thank you.

Vincent

Hi vtst and welcome to the forum face-smile.png

Widelands can work with both zipped and unzipped savegames, so you can simply leave the unzipped .wgf directory in your savegame directory. If you really need a single-file archive (e.g. for multiplayer), best load the unzipped savegame and resave it.
Whether Widelands saves games as zipped files or non-zipped directories is controlled by an option under Options → Saving (default is zipped).
